M100

M100 was born in Rome in 1976 and within a few years rose to the top in audience ratings of the capital, reaching its peak in the early 90s. Its style is easily recognizable thanks to a classy music programming with the Golden Oldies format based solely on old hits on the market for at least 8 years, and the important voices of the speakers who take turns at the microphones of the station. Since the mid-90s, M100 begins to undergo a series of editorial changes and is owned and starts its downward spiral that will end with liquidation in 2001 and subsequent closure in 2002, 25 years after its birth.
