RBE Radio Beckwith Evangelica is a community radio station founded in 1984, linked to the Waldensian Evangelical Church. It focuses on territory, cultural, youth, and social welfare activities. The station's name comes from English General Charles John Beckwith, a benefactor who helped the Waldensian Valleys in the first half of the 19th century. RBE was born after the spread of free radio after 1976, and its broadcasting began in Torre Pellice and expanded to the entire Pellice Valley and Cuneo area. Over time, the broadcasting time has increased to 24 hours a day, thanks to continuous investment in staff and new technologies like streaming since 2004 and digital terrestrial since 2010. RBE broadcasts 24/7, 7 days a week, with an editorial team of 10 and around 80 volunteer collaborators handling technical aspects, musical programs, and entertainment.
