Radio StandBy The Vintage Style

In February 1979, Giorgio Di Marco and Claudio Sabatini, two young electronics and radio station enthusiasts, created Radio StandBy to create a dynamic and innovative radio station. Despite limited budgets, they aimed to break away from the traditional radio dedications and musical requests. They identified sports as a valid communication medium, leading to the launch of Sport Editorial and innovative programs like “Curva Nord” and “Ultrà Roma” for soccer fans.
